HAJIME YODA (NHK World, Japan)
Graduated from Tokyo University of Foreign Studies, Yoda joined NHK in 1988. Beginning as a radio producer for the Swahili service of Radio Japan, he then was moved to Television News and Current Affairs Department. He was engaged in a daily international news program as director/producer while making documentaries about international issues. Between 2004-2006, he was dispatched to NHK Paris bureau. He is currently attached to NHK WORLD TV to supervise the English programs.
KEN-ICHI IMAMURA (NHK Enterprises, Japan)
Imamura is the executive producer in NHK Enterprises which is the business arm of NHK. He is in charge of developing and producing international co-production programs for NHK and other broadcasters in Japan. From 2015, he is producing “Inside Lens” for NHK World TV which introduces splendid Asian documentaries by Asian filmmakers to the world.
Imamura entered NHK in 1983 as a TV director. His main focus of interest has been in international affairs and has directed and produced programs. Between 2005 and 2009, he worked for NHK Enterprises, the business arm of NHK which distributes NHK programs abroad. He transferred to NHK headquarters in 2009 and was the producer and the commissioning editor of the slot “World Documentary” until 2012. He was active to attend many international documentary festivals and co-produced about ten documentaries. Since 2012 he has been transferred to NHK Enterprises again. He is the executive producer and in charge of developing co-production projects for NHK. PANUKSMI HARDJOWIROGO (M’GO Films, Singapore)
Co-founder of M’GO Films, Panuksmi is a media producer of film, TV and immersive multimedia museum installations. Currently, she is focused on co-producing works that respect the principal of cultural differences as vibrant and inherently complex.
Credited as Executive producer on films: (re)Surfacing (2015), Southeast Asian Cinema- When the Rooster Crows (co- production Blue Film, Italy 2014), feature documentary and HERE – first feature fiction film by Singapore artist, HO Tzu Nyen 2009.
Signature Conversations (TV series), Six international creative minds (2012), The Legend of the Impacts (2013), Expat Asia (8-part TV documentary series, 2011).
Her work as Executive Producer for museum multimedia installations include the National Museum of Singapore; Natural History Museum; Indian Heritage Cultural Centre and the Canadian Museum of Human Rights. (2014 – 2015).

JULIE WIBOWO (Kompas TV, Indonesia)

WEIXIAN HUANG (Channel NewsAsia, Singapore)
Weixian was from the pioneer batch of graduates at Nanyang Technological University’s School of Communication Studies (now Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information). In 1997, she joined MediaCorp News as a current affairs producer. She was a core producer involved in Channel NewsAsia’s bilingual belt of programmes, and has travelled extensively to cover documentaries around the region. From 2006, she was Editor, then Executive Producer, of Channel NewsAsia’s International Team. The team produces stories tailored for the channel’s regional belt, including long-running series such as Asians of the Year, The Successors, Power List Asia, and My SEA with Dr Farish.
She caught the China bug when filming in the remote villages of Yunnan and corridors of Beijing’s SOHO offices. In August 2013, Weixian took a study sabbatical to join the Master of Arts (Contemporary China) Programme at her alma mater. She began life as a student again, diving into the political intrigues and social issues of this fascinating country, and is proud to have graduated top of her class in 2015.
In January 2015, Weixian returned to Mediacorp in a new capacity as executive producer for Channel NewsAsia’s outsourced current affairs programmes. As Commissioning Editor, she works with external production houses to create APSB (Additional Public Service Broadcast) content.
